This Summer's Hottest Palette | Urban Decay Naked Heat

Introducing the palette of the Summer.... The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette! There was absolutely no way in heck that I was going to pass this one up. I have a crap load of eyeshadow palettes in my collection and prior to this purchase I bought another eye palette, but can anybody really blame me?! I mean this palette is absolutely stunning!

The moment it came out, I knew I just had to have it. Look at the packaging. The packaging alone could of gotten me to go out and spend a wad on this. The packaging of this palette is different from any other of their Naked palettes and it has to be my favourite out of the bunch. It so eye catchy, yet it's not a corny design (yes, I am not a fan of Too Faced's corny packaging. Sorry, not sorry) On the other hand, Urban Decay is known for killing it with their Naked range and since I decided to skip out on the Naked Ultimate Basics, I thought I'd go ahead and treat myself to this one.

Other than the packaging and the quality that UD is known for, the shades themselves secured my decision to get it. For a while now, I've been obsessed with oranges, reds and purples, and anything warm toned - this was pretty much the perfect palette. Housed in this god-send packaging are 12 beautiful shades that don't only work well together, but are also absolutely ideal colours to rock during the summertime. Hence the title of this post (no pun intended there)!

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette Swatches
As you can see from the swatches above, the palette is amazingly pigmented - that goes for swatched with fingers and with an eyeshadow brush. After doing these swatches, I left them on for a few minutes because they were just too beautiful to wipe off. Most of the shadows are smooth and almost as buttery as Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow (aka the best shadows I've tried). They blend so easily and there is little to no fallout. The shades that I was most impressed by were the shimmer shadows. They really pack a punch - just look at that last shade, Ember!

The Naked Heat Palette has been all over the internet for the past few weeks and I'm here for it! This is definitely the hottest palette this summer and I'll be using it a crap ton.

What look would you create using this palette?
