Loving Lately | June Favourites

July is in full effect, so that means it's time to share my loves for the month of June. Since I did start working again, I've not been going makeup free like I usually do; instead, I've been getting use out of a ton of bits - some old, some new - that I can't wait to share with you guys:

NYX Angel Veil Primer | This is definitely an oldie, but a goodie. I pulled this out again after putting it away for quite sometime and fell in love all over again. This is very similar to my holy grail primer - Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (check out this comparison post). It's amazing for evening out my base and allowing my foundation to glide smoothly onto my face. It's also very lightweight which is ideal for the summertime.

Shiseido WetForce BB Cream* | I talked about this in another post - The Beauty Rundown - and it got a very positive review from me. Head over to that post to see my full thoughts. I've been using this non-stop for the past few weeks. Although it's a tad too dark for me, I think it'll be perfect for when I start getting a little darker this year. Just like the primer mentioned above, it's super lightweight that I barely even know it's there.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty | This is the blush I've been using all throughout June. This blush line from Tarte is just amazing in general. They're really pigmented and don't look powdery on the skin. The shade Paaarty itself is a favourite of mine because it's a shade that goes well with my skintone. Plus, I'm not a fan of really 'flashy' blushes and this one is really subtle.

Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Glace | Another oldie, but goodie. I've been wearing this a ton to work because of how easy it is to throw on. Instead of getting super close to the mirror and lining my lips perfectly with a matte liquid lipstick, I could just swipe this on and head out the door in a few seconds.

Luxie Rose Gold Blending Eye Brush #235 | I don't know how long I've had this brush, but it is just amazing. It makes blending eyeshadow effortless. It just does the work for you. I've used this every time I do my makeup for the last two years (or however long I've had this), but I thought I'd mention it this month because all I've been doing for eyeshadow lately is dusting something on the crease using this.

Naruko Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence* | I feel like I mentioned this in my last favourites, but it deserves another mention this month. I've been seeing a ton of improvement on my skin since using this. Everyday I wake up with more revitalized, healthy-looking skin and, dare I say it, the acne scars I've had since I was a teen are starting to dissipate. Even though I've been using this for more than a month, I haven't even finished half the bottle which is great because this stuff is expensive!

No. 2 Poo-Pourri Before You Go Toilet Spray* | This is a little TMI, but when I was contacted to try this, I was all for it. I hate it when I go into the washroom just to find out the person before me dropped a hiroshima bomb in the toilet. I made a PSA to my family when I received this to spray it before they take a number two and my washroom experience has been pleasant ever since.

The way this works is to spray the toilet water 3-5 times with this before you do 'the do'. One the #2 hits the water, it's smell will be trapped and the pleasant smell of the Poo-Pourri will be released. Guys, this stuff really works! So if you have anybody in your household that is very rude to the toilet, pick up one of these and your problems are solved and your nose is happy. Check out this page for all their different scents: Poo-Pourri

How To Get Away With Murder | I don't know what took me so long to watch this, but it's pretty darn amazing. The show is so suspenseful and has a lot of plot twists that I wouldn't have ever seen coming. I also like that this show was educational in a way. I've finished up to season 2 and I'm waiting for season 3 to drop on Netflix soon!

Pretty Little Liars Series Finale | I can't believe PLL is actually finished and we finally know who was behind all this. I dedicated 7 years of my life to this show and I'd be lying if I said it was anything short of amazing. I know a lot of people were disappointed by the ending, but I was not. I even almost let a tear out at the end. They did an amazing job for the finale and I applaud Troian (aka Spencer) for her brilliant performance.

Working With My Bestfriend | As I've mentioned in the beginning of this post, I started working again and one of the best things about my new job is that I get to work alongside one of my best friends. It's always fun working with her and I appreciate it so much because before this, we would only see each other two or three times a year. Being with her weekly brings me back to the days where we would see each other every day during high school and elementary. It's just really cool!

Products marked with a (*) were sent to me for consideration. All opinions are my own.

What have you been loving throughout June?
