A Day In My Life + 6 Years

h a p p y   s a t u r d a y   e v e r y o n e   !
I believe that it's always good to switch things up once in a while. And guess what? Today's that day for me. Instead of talking beauty, I want to share some of my life adventures/moments with anyone who reads my little space. I'm not sure if anyone feels the same, but I like to read personal posts from other bloggers because it gives personality to the blog. Anyways, here's a few snaps from this week's adventure:

As most of you know (since I probably sound like a broken record because I mention it all the time), I'm on a spending ban. So instead of making a trip to some place where spending money is inevitable, we decided to visit a no-money zone - nature. We ended up visiting the Toronto Botanical Garden. Despite living in Toronto all my life, I've actually never been here and it's really odd because it's only a 10 minute drive from my house. Also, if you read from my June Goals, I said that I wanted to experiment more with my camera outdoors, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity - as you can see, I'm not the best.. I'm thinking of buying a new lens..

Before visiting, I didn't think there were going to be many flowers because of the sh*tty we've been having lately, but I was pleasantly surprised to spot a ton of gorgeous flowers and greenery there. The park had tons of different flowers that came in all sorts of colours. There were quite a bit of people there, so I was only able to snap a few photos before my little one became impatient and begged to go walking along one of the paths. So off we went..

Something about my little family (my boyfriend, daughter and myself), we are more of a city-type of family. We typically hate anything nature-y aka bugs and all. For some reason, this day was different as we all enjoyed walking along the path and exploring this new place. I think Kayla enjoyed it the most as she kept pulling me in all sorts of directions and even claimed to take charge and lead us throughout the park. All in all, it was a fun day of exploring and the site was so beautiful, my photos definitely don't do it any justice.

Also this week, specifically yesterday, it was my boyfriend and I's 6th anniversary, yay! It may not seem like a long time to most people, but I personally think it's pretty long time, even though the years feel like they flew by. After all we've been through, especially this and this, our relationship will always be something I will fight for and be proud about. I'll be forever grateful for what we have and our daughter is a true symbol of the love we have for each other. -sappy rant over-
Have a lovely weekend everyone! I hope you guys enjoyed this post & it didn't bore you to death!
What will you be doing this week?
