Batiste Dry Shampoo Plus in Heavenly Volume*
I must admit, I'm not that big into haircare or hair products at all because my hair is pretty much hopelessly flat and straight. But when an opportunity comes by to try anything that might give my hair volume, I jump at the chance (although most products fail me). However, this dry shampoo didn't disappoint me. I've tried Batiste dry shampoos in the past and loved them, so the dry shampoo aspect in this one gets a thumbs up from me. I have to applaud this one mostly for actually giving my boring hair life! This has to be one of the few hair products that actually gives my hair some lift, so I'm really a huge fan! The only bad thing I can say about this is that if you're too heavy handed with this, it makes your hair feel a bit gritty. So make sure you only use what you need!

Remember when everyone was raving about the Nivea Men's Shaving Balm being an amazing primer? No? I do because I actually bought it and found it to be so-so. When I found out that Nivea came out with an actual primer made for makeup, I was very intrigued to try it. It's supposed to be a moisturizer and a makeup primer in one. As a moisturizer, I find it to do an okay job. I don't think it's the best cream out there, but I do find it to give me some extra hydration atop of my regular face cream. As a primer, I really like it. The formula is sort of like a gel, but it's really easy to blend into the skin as it's a thin consistency. It also feels super cooling. It absorbs into the skin really quickly and doesn't leave it greasy. I find that it keeps my makeup on throughout the day & haven't run into any problems with it. I've been using this non-stop and haven't turned back to my other primers since opening this up.

I mentioned a bit about this lip liner in my "Vacation Beauty Favourites" post. It's a really convenient liner as the twist up packaging makes it easy & the best option for throwing into your bag when on the go, compared to bringing a regular pencil liner and fearing the tip will break off on you without a sharpener near by. I'm also a huge fan of the formula. It's really creamy and applies so smoothly. The liner is nice and thin which makes it easy for me to line my lips precisely without getting the product everywhere.

Products marked with a (*) were sent to me for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Will you be trying any of these products?
