#TwoToneInToronto | Laneige Two Tone Lipsticks

The other day, I attended a party held by Laneige to celebrate their new Two Tone Lipsticks in Toronto. The event was held in a beautiful space and the whole evening was more elegant than I could ever imagine. I went with one of my best friends; to say that we were swooning all night is an understatement.

When we first entered the venue, we were greeted by the event manager who told us to help ourselves to some wine. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but if that doesn't scream fancy, I don't know what does. We were also offered some food - avocado/tomatoes on toast and pesto (and some other sauce that I can't remember) on thin slices of beets: the chef's take on ravioli. They were also offering glasses of kombucha. I had no idea what that was before this day, but I am now a fan.

After having a quick bite, we moved on to the main event of the night - tulip crown making. They had a professional florist guide us through the steps of creating the tulip crown. She offered a wide variety of flowers, but the main focus was on the two-toned tulips that were freshly picked from the farm that same day. The two-toned tulips worked perfectly to celebrate and represent the launch of Laneige's Two Tone lipsticks.

It was fairly easy to create the tulip crown, just a bit time consuming - not complaining, in fact, I was enjoying myself way too much. Looking around the room, I noticed that everybody's crown was unique and no less than stunning. I don't consider myself an artistic person at all, but I was extremely happy with how mine turned out. I feel like you can't go wrong with these and they'd just turn out beautiful because..well..they're flowers. They're beautiful all by themselves.

In another corner of the room was a huge vanity and a display of their Two Tone Lipsticks. They looked so pretty on display and I just wanted to swatch all of them right there and then. Apologies for the not-so-picture-perfect photos, I only brought my iPhone. I nearly squealed at the end of the night when they handed me a box with all eight of the shades - I promise more on that in another post!

Will you be picking up any of the Two Tone Lipsticks?
