Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel
After seeing a ton of ladies talk crazily about this shower gel over the holidays, I decided to snag one during their BOGO sale in January. I'm a huge fan of rose scents, so this one was a no-brainer purchase for me. It smells just like roses and I love it! Every time I use it, the shower smells amazing. This is the second shower gel I've tried from Lush; the first one being The Comforter. Compared to The Comforter, Rose Jam has more of a jelly texture. I'm not so picky with texture since they both do the same job. Overall, I'm a really big fan.

On the PTR website, they claim that this mask is supposed to help soothe, hydrate, and detoxify the look of dry & irritated skin. They also have a list of ingredients on there, along with what benefits it gives to your skin. For the time that I've been trying it out, I agree that it feels soothing & hydrating on the face once applied. As soon as it hits my skin, it feels really nice & cool. Also, I find that it really takes away a lot of my redness, especially after I've exfoliated my skin. I'm not extremely in love with this, but I do admit that it lives up to those three claims (soothes, hydrates, detoxify look of irritated skin).

Taking these claims from the PTR site again - this cream is supposed to improve the look of skin firmness, tone, smoothness, clarity, fine lines and deep wrinkles. Before we start with the actual performance of the product, I just have to let y'all know my hatred for the scent of this cream. I'm not sure what ingredient I'm smelling or if it's even supposed to smell like that, but the smell just reminds me of paint (like paint you use for your bedroom walls!). However, I decided to overlook that & still give it a go. This cream is definitely a good one. I can't speak on wrinkles or fine lines as I don't have any, but I do find that it moisturizes my skin nicely & my skin looks/feels firm & supple every time I use it. If this didn't retail for over C$100, I would be purchasing a full size in no time.

This month I'll be trying out:
  • Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme
  • Pixi Endless Brow Gel Pen*
  • Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in Basic Instinct*
