On-Flight Essentials

By the time this is up, I've probably taken my first flight in 7 years - yes, it's been that long. The last time I was on a plane was when I was 14 or 15. The memory is so distant to me, I could barely remember it. Let alone remember what the heck I took with me on the plane. I did, at the time however, have my mom travelling with me and she probably packed everything that I would need in her bag. This time, I'm only travelling with my dad & daughter.. So all the stress of packing is basically on me. I don't know if I'm doing this right, but here's a few things I'm taking with me on my carry-on:

To overcome the change in moisture /
I always hear people talking about their skin acting up during or after a flight. To save my skin from that, I'm taking a hand cream for my hands. My go-to at the moment is The Body Shop's Strawberry Hand Cream. It smells so good and reminds me of my childhood for some reason. The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is my absolute favourite at the moment and I definitely couldn't leave it at home, so it gets to take a little vacation with me. I recently received a tiny sample of the Clarins Multi-Active Eye Reviver and I'll be using it to keep my under-eyes hydrated during the flight.  Lastly, I'm bringing along two face masks from Naruko Canada; the Rose & Botanic Mask* and Taiwan Magnolia Mask*. Hopefully both of those are enough to keep my face hydrated!

To keep me entertained /
There's only so much you could do on a plane, and with a toddler with me, I'm sure sleep won't be one of those things I'll be doing. Instead, I'll have to keep myself entertained & her entertained. First of all, I'm of course taking my earphones with me along with some movies on my phone that she could watch, in case the plane doesn't have any good ones. Besides that, I'll be bringing two cameras - my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Camera & my vlog camera. If you read this post, then you know I want to document some moments of my trip for my daughter to look back to when she's older. Next, I'll be bringing something to read. I actually picked up The Girl Next Door a while ago and was saving it to read on the plane. (Have you read this book? Would you want to see a review on it?) - Also, I'm planning to pick up an adult colouring book that my daughter and I could share. Hopefully all of these keep us occupied for our 19 hour flight.
Just in case /
Of course, I'll be bringing a few bits to freshen up, like a toothbrush, mouthwash, hand sanitizer, and a few makeup bits. But for those 'just in case' moments, I'll be bringing a few snacks for when the little one (and possibly myself) gets hungry. She's a pretty picky eater and though I hope she enjoys the plane food, there's no harm in bringing a few snacks just in case. In case, we get cold, I'll be packing us some sweaters & comfy socks. I'm one of those people that always get cold, even if it's hot af out, so better safe than sorry!

Am I missing anything? What are your flight must-haves?
