March Goals & February Update
Where, oh where is the time going? Seriously though, how are we already in March? I'm probably going to be saying that for every month that passes (oops). February was meh month for me when it comes to my goals. One thing I was very successful with was my spending ban (read this post) and I couldn't be more proud of myself for it. As for being more active, I'd say "kinda". I started doing some exercises here and there, but not as much as I planned on doing when I set that as a goal. Packing for vacation was a "kinda" as well as I pretty much have everything ready; just waiting for the last few days at home to pack up some everyday things.
I realized that two of last months goals totally contradicted themselves. I said that I wanted to pre-write a bunch of posts, but at the same time switch off. The good news is that I was able to get a few posts done, but sadly, no time to switch off since I was working hard (or hardly working) on those posts. But we could totally look past that right? Onto March's goals:
O1. Try Something New
With me going on vacation, I really want to try some new things (whether it's food or activities) that I can't do or try in Canada. I mostly want to new foods. Even though I'm a Filipino going to the Philippines, there are some goods that I don't have access to at home or I didn't dare to try. This time I won't hold back at all.
O2. Switch Off - For Real This Time
I don't want to be one of those people who spend hours on their phones while on vacation. Though I'll try to be consistent with my blogging & keeping my social media accounts active, I won't let it consume too much time while I'm on holiday.
O3. Explore New (Or Old) Places
This isn't the first time I'm going to the Philippines, it's actually the third. I want to be going to new places every single day I'm there or even revisit places I've already been. I'll be there for a month and though that may sound like a long time, days always go by fast while on vacation & I want to make the most of it. No days wasted.
O4. Vlog Vlog Vlog!
If you didn't catch it, I finally uploaded a new video onto my YouTube channel the other day. Since I'm going on vacay, I want to document most of it. I think it's going to be a great thing for Kayla (my daughter) to look back on when she's older. I went to the Philippines back when I was around her age & only have photos to help me remember things. Videos are always better, so that's what I want to do for her.
O5. Enjoy My Vacation
All in all, I just want to enjoy every moment while on vacation. Forget all the stress & just make memories.
What are your goals this month?
