Five Faves | Anastasia Beverly Hills
There's no denying that Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the hottest brands out there at the moment. In fact, they're probably up there in my top 5 makeup brands. The first time I heard about them was when everybody & their mommas were raving about the Dip Brow. Their eyebrows looked so good, I just knew I had to add it to my collection. And that's when my love for the brand started. Since the Dip Brow, I've tried my fair amount of products from them. Here are my favourite five:
This has to be my absolute fave palette in my collection. I've mentioned this one plenty of times on my blog, so it really doesn't need an introduction. These were the first eyeshadows I've tried from ABH and I was super impressed. They have to be the most buttery & pigmented shadows I have in my stash. I'm in love with every single shade in this palette. Every time I do my makeup, I have to stop myself from reaching for this one. No exaggerations. That itself should explain how good this palette is.
I know that the Brow Wiz is their staple product. I can't lie, I was a huge fan of that one and repurchased it a few times, but the game changed when they came out with the Brow Definer. Admittedly, the first time I used this, it was a little difficult. It has a bigger tip compared to the Brow Wiz, so it took me a few tries to get used to it. But once I had it down, I was in love with it. I find it much more creamier than the BW and since it had a bigger tip, I covered more area faster. This has to be my favourite high end brow pencil ever.
It's finally time for me to address the culprit who got me into spending all this money on ABH - the infamous Dip Brow. Like I said earlier, everybody was raving about this one and I just had to get it. I actually pulled this out of my stash recently after giving it a little break, I instantly fell in love all over again. It super creamy and has amazing colour payoff. A little bit goes a long way, which explains why I haven't gone through a full jar yet (but I'm close). These make my brows super defined and darkens them up. It also works as a brow tamer for those who have stubborn hairs.
Before I pulled out the Dip Brow again, this is what I was using. This is an easy little product to carry around with you or travel with. They have two shades inside which work perfectly to create the 'gradient brow', so your eyebrows aren't one shade throughout. It's also a nice duo for those 'in a rush' days. Just throwing this on in a few strokes will already make it look like you tried. This is another one where a little bit goes a long way. I've been using this for the longest time & you could see above that there's only a dent in the product.
This concealer has been a lifesaver in my routine. I always use this in my makeup routine without fail. This has to be the perfect concealer for cleaning up the brows & that's exactly what I use it for. It's extremely pigmented, so even if I go a little overboard with filling in my brows, I could always count on this concealer to save me. I've not used this for anything but my brows. However, this is a little bit on the thicker side in consistency, so I'm not too sure how it would work on the under eyes.
What are your faves from the brand?
