Christmas Gift Ideas: Beauty Gift Sets
We're inching closer and closer to December each day. And with December comes Christmas! I love this time of year because a lot of companies come out with their holiday gift sets. Who doesn't love a good value set, am I right? Today I'm sharing a few gift set ideas that you may want to give, or hint to someone to get you, for Christmas:
Vichy Holiday Sets | I mentioned in a previous post (here) that I picked up he Aqualia Thermal Light Gift Set. During my visit to the store, I noticed they had a handful of Vichy holiday sets on display. This would be the perfect gift for the skincare lovers in your life. Or if you've been wanting to try out some goodies from the brand, these sets are amazing value. The set I picked up was priced at $39.95CAD, with a value of $53.24CAD.
Ouai Style Edit Set | For the people who are obsessed with their hair being perfect, pick up this amazing set for them. Included inside are the Wave Spray, Texturizing Hair Spray, Finishing Creme & 6 hair ties. This brand is highly talked about by celebs, YouTube beauty gurus, and a lot of beauty bloggers as well. The Style Edit Set is a great introduction to the brand. I purchased mine from Sephora, but they also sell them from the Ouai website. The retail price is $31CAD, but has a value of $50CAD.
So..? Gift Sets | Next up is for the people in your life who love perfume. The brand "So...?" have an assortment of different gift sets out at the moment for the holidays. Their sets are extremely wallet-friendly, so these can even act as stocking stuffers. I received the So...? Three For Me* set and the So...? Couture Sweet Treats* set. All scents included smell pleasant and, in my experience, last & linger for a good period of time. If you live in Canada, you'll be able to find these sets at Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall or Jean Coutu.
MaskerAide Gift Sets | Do you have someone in your life who's obsessed with sheet masks? I could definitely name a few. If you haven't heard of MaskerAide before, they are a company that prides themselves on their sheet masks. All of their masks are saturated with a highly concentrated argan oil based serum that holds a bunch of vitamins and nutrients, which is then mixed in with other specially formulated ingredients intended to aid different skin concerns.I received The Fab Life Set* which is an online exclusive. Their masks are extremely hydrating and have my skin looking fresh and radiant. The eye gels are meant to brighten, hydrate, and firm. I don't need any brightening or firming, but I can say that they definitely do give hydration my under eyes. They have a lot of sets out at the moment, so definitely head over to their site to snag a few!
Julep Nail Gift Sets | Last but not least, for those who love painting their nails, this is the one for you. I received this Warm Wishes trio in a giveaway, but Julep is not a new brand to me. A few years ago I was actually subscribed to their beauty box subscription, so I'm very familiar with their polishes. I have to say that they are my second favourite nail varnish brand (my first being Essie). They go on super smooth and it doesn't take many coats to achieve the colour in the bottle, probably two coats at most. And can we talk about the packaging? They're winning over Essie in that department. After receiving this, I went to their site and saw that they also have a few sets out this year. The price tags on the sets are phenomenal! They have a 12-piece set retailing for $50, with the value of $168. Crazy.
