Makeup Look: Date Night Glam ft. Tricky Hair Lashes

Who doesn't like going out on dates? Whether it's with your significant other or with a few friends, dates are fun. Personally, I began cherishing nights out a lot more after having a child. It's not too often that my boyfriend and I get to go out for dates, though I'm not complaining. We really love spending time as a little family. But when we do have the chance to go out, just the two of us, I always take my sweet ass time to get ready and do my makeup.

For this look, I decided to go for a subtle look with really flirty lashes. For my base, I used the Benefit Porefessional with my newest foundation, the L'oreal Pro Glow, on top. This is the first time I've used it, but I'm really liking it so far (I'll have a review on it at the end of the month). As for my concealer, no surprise here, my trusty duo - Maybelline Fit Me & Age Rewind. I gave my self a little bronze with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and on my cheeks, a flush of pink with my Nars Blush in Dolce Vita. For a healthy glow, I used the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette to hit my cheekbones, tip of the nose, and a lil bit on my cupid's bow.

Moving onto the eye area - I used my NYX Micro Brow pencil and ABH Brow Duo to create a soft brow look so it wouldn't clash with what I was going to do on my eyes. I pulled out an oldie but a goodie to use on my lids. The Naked 3 Palette is what I used to do a light smokey eye. You can't see it in the photo, but I used the pink & gold shimmer shades in the palette to add some life on 2/3 of my lid. I used a nude liner from Rimmel on my waterline and finished off with some shadow on my lower lash line.

And now for the star of the show, these lovely Tricky Lashes*. I received them from a brand called Tricky Hair Extensions. Tricky Hair sells clip-in hair extensions and 3D mink false lashes. The claim for these lashes are to be 100% Mink Fur. I'm not too familiar with how that feels, but I can definitely tell you that these are the softest thing ever! I can definitely tell a difference compared to other false lashes that I usually buy. I love the design of them as well. They look really fluffy and flirty on the eyes, which I think is perfect for a date night! To finish off the look, I brought out ColourPop Lippie Stick in Cami and topped it off KVD Bow N Arrow

When was the last time you went out on a date? What did you do?
