Makeup Look: Berry Eyes & Pink Lips

As of late, every time I go on bloglovin' to check out all the new posts, at least one blogger is talking about something 'berry'. Whether it's berry lipsticks, berry eyeshadow, berry blush, etc. I guess that's natural whenever Autumn rolls around. I have to admit, berry is the colour I think about when I hear the word 'Fall' or 'Autumn'. Well, orange is when I'm talking to someone who's not into makeup. But  definitely berry when it does come to a makeup junkie. Enough rambling though, here's another 'berry' blog post for ya!

To start off this look, I used the NYX Angel Veil Primer to give me a smooth canvas to work on. I then went ahead and applied the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation with a beautyblender. I forgot how pretty this foundation is. It gives me such a lovely glow, which I think is great for the Fall season. Next, I concealed/highlighted my under eyes, bridge of the nose, forehead, and chin with my holy grail duo - the Maybelline Fit Me & Age Rewind, then set it in place using the Be A Bombshell Smooth Criminal HD Powder that I got from the BB5 September Box

Starting with my eyebrows, I used the Essense Eyebrow Designer Pencil (that I mentioned in my '$20 Makeup Challenge') to fill in my eyebrows, ABH Concealer to clean up any mistakes, then set them with Benefit's Gimme Brow. Onto the actual lids, most of the shadows I used were from my go-to fall palette, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I used the shades Buon Fresco, Love Letter & Venetian Red to create a gradient then put a pink shimmery shade from the UD Naked 3 Palette on the centre of my lid. On my lower lash line, I lined it with Love Letter and smoked it out with Buon Fresco. I skipped eyeliner and went straight in with false lashes and hit my bottom lashes with some mascara.

Going back to my face, I warmed up my face with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and contoured with Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I highlighted my cheekbones, tip of the nose & lip, and inner corner of the eyes using the first two highlighters from the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Trio Palette (does anybody remember that one?). Next I tied it all together with a sweep of MAC Harmony Blush on my cheeks then towards my temple. To finish off the look, I lined my lips with MAC Whirl Lip Liner and pulled out my Kylie Liquid Lipstick in Koko K (review here) to put over top.

What colour automatically comes to mind when you think of Autumn?
