A Minimal Makeup Day
I always use a face primer no matter what kind of look I'm going for. As of late, I've rediscovered my love for the Benefit Porefessional. I love the way it glides on my face and smooths/evens my skin to make the perfect base for my foundation. After that, I like to go in with my Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. I picked it up when I went to Montreal a few months ago and have been loving it lately. It doesn't feel too heavy on the skin, which is what I prefer for a hot day. I wouldn't say this is full coverage, maybe a light to medium, but it does give me the coverage I need so I'm not complaining. I'll then go in with my favourite concealer duo, Maybelline Fit Me + Age Rewind and set it with my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. Next, I'll take a big fluffy brush and bronze areas of my face with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I just started using this again. I completely forgot how much I liked it and don't get me started on how good that thing smells... To kill two birds with one stone, or to blush and highlight in one go, I like to use my Milani Blush in Luminoso. It gives me a flush and a bit of a glow as well.
Onto the eye area, I will never ever skip filling in my eyebrows. But to get it done fast, I just fill it in lightly with my ABH Brow Definer and set it with the Benefit Gimme Brow. It doesn't give me the dark, defined brow that I'm used to, but hey this is a minimal makeup look! I'll then dust a brown eyeshadow in my crease for definition and then mascara. The Rimmel Lash Accelerator is what I've been reaching for a lot. And that's pretty much it. I don't really bother slapping on a lipstick. At most, it'll just be a lip balm. I've been using the crap out of my Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm. It's very moisturizing and smells amazing! To finish everything off, I'll bathe in my MAC Fix+, then I'm out the door.
