Travel | Road Trip (Vlog) Part II
Here's the second part of a three part series. If you've been keeping up with me, then you probably read on my Summer Travel Makeup Bag post that I went on vacation. My family and I went on a road trip towards the eastern part of Canada. We passed by Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI, which was our final destination. The video is a compilation of scenery and activities that we did while on the road trip. Enjoy and subscribe to my YouTube channel!
With the drive from Nova Scotia to PEI only being 3 hours, we got two full days to explore the island. Aside from exploring the welcome centre (where those little cat things were), we went to downtown Summerside. Of course, we went there to look for some more fresh seafood (because that's just what you do when you're seaside). We found a place called Sharky's, where we ordered a bucket of seafood and a plate of friend seafood which we all shared. After that, we explored a little place with a bunch of little shacks called Spinnakers' Landing. This also had a boardwalk overlooking the water which is where I took the clip of the boats.
The next day, we took a look at the Air Force Heritage Park which was conveniently in front of our hotel. Afterwards, we went to Charlottetown and visited a farmers market. That's where we bought those mini donuts (which were super good, by the way!). Next, we went to the Marine Aquarium & Manor of Birds attraction at Stanley Bridge. As you'll see, we had the chance to touch/hold eels, flat fish, and starfish. Just when we were about to leave, my dad spotted a few men fishing. We ended up spending the rest of the day catching Mackerel.
