In My Travel Makeup Bag | Summer

As of July 3, I've been on a road trip with my family to Prince Edward Island, Canada. We'll be passing by a few provinces and stopping by a bunch of cities until the 17th! So with vacation season here, I'm sharing with you guys what's in my travel makeup bag. Here are the products that I'll be using throughout my whole two-week road trip.

The primer that I'm bringing along with me is the Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizer. I like this because it makes my face smooth and the size of it is travel friendly, so it won't take up much space in my makeup bag. For foundation, I also opted to take only one product and that is the EX1 Invisiwear. I'm taking with me a foundation that I trust will stay on and also give me good coverage. As for concealer, I'm bringing these three: Maybelline Age Rewind, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, and ABH Concealer. The Maybelline concealers are for my undereyes/bridge of nose/forehead, while the Anastasia concealer is what I use to clean up my brows. I'm also taking with me my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder for setting my concealer and baking, duh!

For bronzing my face, I've really been loving the Benefit Hoola bronzer. I actually bought the smaller size that they just came out with and it's perfect for on-the-go. For contouring, I didn't want to take a big palette (e.g. ABH Contour Kit or KVD Shade+Light), so I chose to bring these MUG Contour Pans and throw them in a small z-palette that I have. The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Memorable and the MAC Blush in Harmony are the blushes I'm taking with me. The Tarte blush will come in handy when I need a light flush and I chose the MAC blush to come along because it's a nice subtle blush for when I don't want a "too pink" colour on my cheeks. And, of course, for my highlight I had to bring my favourite of all time: Becca Opal. It's been my go-to highlight for a while and it's perfect for every look.

As for my brows, I decided to pack fairly light. I'm just bringing a long my NYX Micro Brow, ABH Brow Powder Duo, and ABH Clear Brow Gel. The eyeliners that I'm taking with me are the KVD Tattoo Liner and the Marc Jacobs Highliner. Both of them stay on super long and I've never come across any other liners that beats their longevity. Of course I have to bring some falsies with me and the ones I'm taking with me are the J-lash #WSP. Also, to glue those bad boys on, I'm taking the best eyelash glue: HOL Eyelash Adhesive. And for when I'm feeling lazy to put those on or when I need to hit my bottom lashes, I have my L'oreal Voluminous Mascara

Deciding which palette to bring along with me was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. But after a good amount of time to contemplate. I decided to bring the Lorac Pro Palette because of the great pigmentation and it has a good amount of shimmery and matte shades that I could play around with. I'm also taking with me the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Eye Palette. Even though it got recalled, I still decided to keep it and I will review it later on when I get the chance to play around with it more.

Lastly, lips. Surprisingly, this wasn't hard for me to choose. I came to a conclusion that I would only need two shades: a nude and a pink. I didn't think I would need any dark or berry colours because it's Summer. So, I brought with me my favourite nude for the moment, KVD Bow N Arrow. And for the pink, or as I would like to call it "your lips but better", I chose the Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Glace
